Every Sunday following the 9:30 a.m. service, All Saints' parishioners meet for The Sunday Coffee Hour. This provides a time to catch up on news, and to welcome guests and new parishioners to All Saints'. New volunteers are welcome. This group also organizes other Social Events such as pot lucks on special occasions.
The Altar Guild works behind the scenes to care for and change the linens, flowers and sacred vessels needed for services throughout the year. Those interested in donating flowers for Sunday mornings may contact the church office. New members are always welcome.
|The Seniors’ Exercise and Wellness Group meet on Mondays from 1:30 to 3:30 in rooms 7/8 for 30 minutes of chair exercises followed by a discussion of interesting topics, fellowship and tea.||Seniors’ Luncheon: All Seniors are welcome to attend the Eucharist at 11:00 am followed by lunch at 12:00 noon. This event is held in May.|
The Craft Guild (All Saints’ Originals) meets in Room 5/6 on the first Wednesday of every month except December and January. We create items for the annual bazaar and enjoy fellowship as we glue and paint and sew.
The Wednesday Quilters meet at 10 am on most Wednesday mornings throughout the year to hand-quilt around a frame in the “quilting bee” tradition. If you are a hand-quilter, or would like to learn how to do this type of quilting, come to one of our sessions and try your hand on our small starter quilt. On the other hand, if you have a pieced quilt top that you have made or acquired which you would like to have hand-quilted, we would be happy to assess the suitability of your quilt for hand-quilting and review our pricing policy with you. This group welcomes visitors at anytime, and donates all of its income to the work of our church.
The All Saints’ Reading Circle has monthly book discussions on the third Wednesday of each month in the chapel starting at 7:30. New people are always welcome. For a complete list of books please click here (pdf). Please note that the list is subject to change.
The Courtyard Gardens are a place of peace and welcome in the centre of Westboro. If you appreciate the gardens and like to join the volunteers who keep it beautiful, please contact the ASW office and a volunteer from the garden will get back to you.
The annual All Saints' Village Fall Fair (Bazaar) is held in November. It is an occasion to shop for crafts, knitting, jewellery, baking, pickles and preserves, linens, silver, used books and much more. The Snowflake Café serves a delicious lunch.
|The All Saints’ Spring Fair in May is a great opportunity to find new treasures, new authors, delicious baking and acclimatized perennials for the garden.||Westboro Fuse is a free, hip and exciting weekend-long street party and neighbourhood showcase, boasting interactive fun, family- friendly programming, live musical entertainment, fashion shows, We invite you to stop by our church to check out our events, rest on our shaded courtyard or tour our building.
